3. Obtain liability insurance and submit a copy of your card during your first in studio day or via email at [email protected]
For the duration of your Pilates Teacher Training, it is essential to maintain student Pilates liability insurance that specifically covers Pilates. This policy must be a Professional Liability policy and should be held in your name as a Teacher Training Participant.
When enrolling, list the Powers Pilates studio(s) where you will attend in-studio training and conduct Practice Teaching and Assistant Teaching as "additional certificate holder" (Lockton) or "additionally insured" (For Lockton: the insurable interest is "Landowner or Lessor of Premises"). Ensure that your policy's effective date is before your first day of Practice Teaching or Assistant Teaching.

- Join IDEA - IDEA Fitness: Become a "Member - Category: Personal Trainer."
- Purchase Insurance - IDEA Insurance Plans: Obtain a Pilates Professional Liability Insurance Policy and list the Club Pilates studio(s) as an additional certificate holder (as landowner/lessor of premises).
- Upload Your Policy: Scan your insurance policy using an app like Adobe Scan or TurboScan and upload the PDF.
