Pam Melton
Pilates teacher, NCPT
Pam Melton has been a lifelong mover, with a deep-rooted passion for dance and movement that began in early childhood. While never a professional dancer, she has trained extensively in multiple styles of dance and gymnastics since the age of four. Her love for movement continues today, as she stays active in the dance community and occasionally leads Zumba and group fitness classes.
Pilates became a transformative force in Pam’s life, serving as both a sanctuary and a tool for longevity. Years of dance and physical activity brought their fair share of wear and tear, but Pilates has kept her body strong, resilient, and ready for whatever comes next. Beyond its physical benefits, she values the undeniable mental and emotional well-being that a consistent Pilates practice provides.
After retiring from corporate life in 2023, Pam embraced a new chapter, training under Master Instructor Laura Blatterman-Powers. She completed her comprehensive Pilates education and earned her NCPT (Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher) accreditation, stepping fully into her role as an instructor.
Pam’s greatest joy in teaching comes from helping individuals reach their health and wellness goals, whether through strength-building, rehabilitation, or simply moving better in their daily lives. She is fascinated by the science of movement and loves sharing her knowledge of biomechanics with her clients. At Powers Pilates, she thrives in the intimate, supportive environment, guiding clients through personalized sessions that empower them to move with confidence and ease.
Her philosophy is simple: keep moving, keep learning, and keep dancing!

Yuli Flores
Pilates teacher
Originally from New Jersey, Yuli Flores has always led an active lifestyle. Growing up as a dedicated soccer player, movement was a central part of her life. In 2022, she began exploring fitness beyond traditional workouts, diving into group fitness classes like SolidCore and Lagree. However, it was Pilates that truly captured her interest, drawing her in with its emphasis on core strength, flexibility, and proper alignment through controlled movement and mindful breathing.
Yuli’s commitment to Pilates deepened after witnessing its transformative effects firsthand. When her father suffered an injury and struggled to find relief through months of physical therapy, she encouraged him to try Pilates. In just one month of consistent practice, his pain was significantly reduced—a powerful testament to the method’s impact. This experience solidified Yuli’s belief in the power of Pilates, inspiring her to become a certified instructor.
As a teacher, Yuli is passionate about helping others feel stronger, more confident, and more in tune with their bodies. She focuses on guiding clients toward proper alignment and functional strength, ensuring they move with both control and purpose.
When she’s not in the studio, Yuli enjoys spending time with her family and taking her Australian Shepherd, Milo, to the dog park.
